The distribution system is part of the electric power system that functions to distribute electrical energy to consumers. There are several kinds of disturbances that occur in the electric power distribution system. One of the disturbances that often occurs is short-circuit interference between phases and phase interference with the ground. Protection equipment is needed to overcome short-circuit faults, such as overcurrent relays and ground fault relays. In order for protection equipment to work properly, coordination of the protection system is needed. The purpose of this study is to be able to know. OCR and GFR uptime coordination system when a short circuit occurs on the Cenderawasih feeder. And it can simulate an electric power protection system using the Etap 12.6 program. This research method uses qualitative data at PT PLN (PERSERO) ULP Jayapura by analyzing the length of the refiner, short circuit current for 3 phase, 2 phase and 1 phase to the ground as well as setting OCR and GFR.The results of short circuit analysis of 3 phase, 2 phase and 1 phase to the ground give values for 3 phase (0,01 to 0,053 kA) for 2 phase (0,003 to 0,044 kA) and for 1 phase to the ground (2,508 to 2,5 kA) it is recommended that there is a need for periodic repair and maintence, especially for 1 phase disturbance to the ground.
