ANALISIS PEMASANGAN RECLOSER TERHADAP PROSES RECOVERY TIME DAN SAIDI

System reliability is the main factor that PT PLN (Persero) pays attention to as an electricity provider. Recloser functions as a remote controller to regulate the power supply in the event of an outage, thereby reducing the number of customers affected by outages and speeding up the recovery process. This study aims to compare recovery time, determine the level of reliability and determine the value of SAIDI and the number of unused kWh as well as the rupiah wasted before and after the installation of the Recloser. From the data management, the results were obtained on the Orchid Feeder, before the installation of the Recloser, the total recovery time reached 943 minutes, with a SAIDI rate of 3,849 hours/customer, ENS of 155,141.9 kWh, and a financial loss value of Rp. 224,203,558.7 After the installation of the Recloser, there was a decrease in recovery time to 273 minutes, the SAIDI rate was reduced to 0.0689 hours/customer, ENS to 15,273.5 kWh, and the value of loss decreased to Rp. 29,398,448.11 By comparing the conditions before and after the installation of the Recloser, a percentage decrease in recovery time of 71.06%, a percentage reduction in SAIDI of 98.21%, and a percentage reduction in ENS of 90.16% were obtained. In addition, the percentage rate of depreciation of financial losses can be suppressed to 86.91%. These results show that the installation of Recloser significantly contributes to improving the efficiency of the electricity distribution system by reducing the duration and impact of outages.
