Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the magnitude of the three-phase, single-phase and single-phase short circuit fault current to the ground at the Tanah Hitam feeder at the Abepura Switching Substation (GH), ULP Abepura P.T. PLN (Persero) Jayapura and find out the magnitude of the voltage sag at the fault location due to the disturbance.

The method used in this research is collecting secondary data and processing it by analyzing the data by calculating the short circuit current value and dip voltage value due to the short circuit.

From the calculation results, it is obtained that the dip voltage value when a short circuit occurs for a 3-phase fault to ground, the fault point is 100% distance, namely 2,049.7 Volts. In the case of a short circuit in the S and T phases at 100% distance, it is 6,292 Volts (S Phase) and 5,401 Volts (T Phase). In the R phase fault to ground at the 5% point it is 17,800 Volts in the S phase with a voltage value that decreases to a distance of 100%, namely 17,504 Volts, while in the T phase at the 5% fault point it is 20,581 Volts with a voltage value that decreases to a distance of 100%, namely 20,372 Volts.
