OPTIMALISASI PENGARUH KETIDAKSEIMBANGAN BEBAN GARDU DISTRIBUSI TERHADAP ARUS NETRAL

In order to meet the demand for electrical energy there is an additional load in each region. This causes a load imbalance, from several feeders at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Sentani which experiences the most unbalanced load is the feeder with normal designation which is dominated by household customers where the electricity usage in this area is very fast changing as in the cempaka feeder where the average load imbalance reaches 36.48% cempaka feeder if doing load equalization is very easy because there are no priorities because this research aims to provide recommendations for PT.PLN (Persero). The methodology used is quantitative. Where the data in this study are the entire load of the distribution substation which is channeled through the Cempaka feeder at the peak night load because most of these customers are household customers. The data collection technique is using observation, namely measuring substations directly in the field to get the loading value for each distribution substation, then technical data analysis using Microsoft Excel which is then simulated in Etab 19. The results of this study indicate that the cempaka feeder does not operate optimally, there are losses during operation which are caused by wasted energy in the neutral of 74,311.08 kWh per year and the load imbalance reaches 36.48% by carrying out recommendations for optimizing the effect of unbalanced distribution substation loads on neutral currents balancing PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Sentani cempaka feeders and energy losses in the neutral conductor after balancing become 0 kWh and the largest percentage of load imbalance after balancing drops to 0%.
