KOORDINASI KERJA OVER CURRENT RELAY DAN GROUND FAULT RELAY

PLTU HOLTEKAMP is a unit that provides electricity services in Jayapura City, as a means to distribute electricity from substations to consumers. taken from PLTU HOLTEKAMP Jayapura City. The distribution system of 20 kV PLTU HOLTEKAMP at the EVAKUASI 1 feeder has a protection system. The purpose of this final project is to determine the magnitude of the 3-phase, 2-phase, and 1-phase short-circuit fault currents to ground and determine the settings for the overcurrent relay (OCR) and the ground fault relay (GFR) in the Black Ground Feeder. The method used is a literature study. The data taken is in the form of secondary data taken from PLTU HOLTEKAMP. The first step in data processing is calculating impedance, calculating short-circuit fault current and setting up Over Current Relay (OCR), Ground Fault Relay (GFR). The calculation results obtained are that the largest short circuit fault current is caused by a 3 phase short circuit fault at 0%, namely 5761.95 A and is used to calculate the TMS overcurrent relay. Meanwhile, the smallest short circuit current is caused by a single phase short circuit at 100%, namely 0,256 A and is used to calculate the TMS of the ground fault relay. The OCR time grading in the installed condition is in accordance with the IEC 60255 standard so that adjustments are carried out and the results obtained are that the OCR working time on the incoming top side = 0.700 seconds and on the top feeder side = 0.300 seconds. Time grading between OCRs is in accordance with IEC 60255 standards, namely 0.400 seconds. Meanwhile, the GFR time go in accordrading in the installed condition is alsance with the IEC 60255 standard, so that the results of the GFR working time on the incoming side are t = 0.300 seconds and on the feeder side to =0.700 seconds. Time grading between GFRs is in accordance with IEC 60255 standards, namely 0.400 seconds.
